Members and friends, the Foundation is sponsoring two major events in November. The first is our annual Awards Banquet, honoring the First Fighter Wing with the Doolittle Award, retired Lockheed Martin executive Mr. Sherman N. “Sherm” Mullin with the Spaatz Award, and Lt Gen (Ret).) Jack Hudson, CEO of the National Museum of the Air Force, with the Holley Award. Registration is now closed.
Secondly, during the two days following the Banquet, the Foundation will co-host our 2018 Symposium titled “In Country: The War in Vietnam – 1968.” The event will take place at the US Marine Corps Museum at Quantico, Virginia, and is second in the Vietnam War series following the widely acclaimed 2015 Symposium “Violent Skies: The Air War Over Vietnam.” Further information and registration for this event may be found at http://www.afhistory.org/events/2018-symposium/.
We hope to see you at either or both events!
Christopher D. Miller, Lt Gen, USAF (Ret), President
