1994: Two USAF HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter crews from the 56th Rescue Squadron, Keflavik NAS, Iceland, rescue six sailors from their damaged tugboat off the coast of Iceland. Rescue 206 and 208 receive the Mackay Trophy for extraordinary heroism and self-sacrifice during rescue operations in high seas and strong winds.
