2002: A KC-10 arrives at Dulles Airport with John Walker Lindh, a 20-year-old American accused of joining Al Qaeda and fighting in Afghanistan against US forces. A US Park Police helicopter takes Lindh to a detention facility in northern Virginia. On 24 January in Alexandria, VA he is charged with conspiring to kill Americans.
